    Product Registration If this product was purchased directly from Dairy Tech in Windsor, CO, it has already been registered and no further action is required. If the product was purchased through a distributor or other representative, please call Dairy Tech, LLC. at 866-384-2697 within 10 days of receipt to register the Pasteurizer.

    M A T I L D A O W N E R ’ S M A N U A L Cleaning your Matilda Before using this unit for the first time, wash out the inside of the sink with hot soapy water and rinse clean. Matilda should be cleaned regularly to ensure peak performance.

    M A N U A L Water Quality  Dairy Tech LLC is not responsible for your water quality and the effects that it may have on our equipment. If you have dirty, hard, or otherwise poor-quality water, consider purchasing and installing a Dairy Tech water filtration/softener system (see part number below).

    Machine Histor y You can view the logs of all past cycles by selecting History from the bottom menu. The log helps diagnose errors or incomplete cycles. Dairy Tech technicians may request log files to better understand any issues you encounter.

Pasteurize the colostrum as quickly as possible after collection. This will prevent the excessive growth of bacteria in the colostrum and take advantage of the heat to improve energy efficiency.

    M A T I L D A O W N E R ’ S M A N U A L Colostrum is Separated or Congealed The most common cause for colostrum to separate or congeal is acidification. Fermentation of the colostrum by bacteria will cause the release of lactic acid and other acidic by-products resulting in a lower pH.
