  • Page 2 Before using JOSI-pro please be sure to read this instruction manual with all notes. In this way, damage due to operating errors can be avoided and optimum use of JOSI-pro can be achieved.
  • Page 3 Always park JOSI-pro on horizontal surfaces and firmly apply the parking brake. Make sure that the person transported does not lean out of the JOSI-pro. There is a risk of tipping or flipping over. If necessary, arms and legs must be positioned additionally.
  • Page 4 Make sure that no parts hang out of the JOSI-pro during transport. Be sure to use the wrist safety line (see chapter Wrist safety line). All adjustments and readjustments - brakes, centre of gravity, belt adjustment, etc. - must be carried out by a specialist dealer.

  • Page 8 Adjust the ergonomic push handle using the push buttons (A). Attention! Lift JOSI-pro only by the frame. JOSI-pro must not be lifted by the push handle! Pay attention to the weight balance and do not hang heavy objects on the push handle that influence the centre of gravity.

  • Page 10 Anti-tip and tipping lever 1) Setting JOSI-pro is equipped with a combined adjustable anti-tip device (A) with an integrated tipping lever (B) Please note: The anti-tip device can be adjusted by pulling lock C. Attention! Always use the anti-tip device when using JOSI-pro.

  • Page 20 4) Application as open bag To use as an open bag, open both zips and place the lid on the bottom of the bag. Bike option 1) JOSI-pro as bike trailer With the bike option – drawbar and track widening – JOSI-pro can also be used as bike trailer.
  • Page 21 2) Mounting drawbar Remove the front wheel and fit the bike drawbar to the JOSI-pro (see also chapter Front wheel adapter and wheel change). Attention! Ensure that the adapter is inserted correctly on the lower side of the holder (A).
  • Page 22 6) Safety bar The push handle of the JOSI-pro is to be turned completely forwards when cycling and therefore serves as a safety bar for the head. Achtung! The plastic hinges (A) must be engaged. The person transported must always wear a bike helmet.
  • Page 23 Useful life and long-term durability The usefull life of JOSI-pro is set by the manufacturer at 5 years. With regular and proper care, maintenance and repair by the manufacturer, the service life of JOSI-pro can be extended depending on the intensity of use.
