    JOSI-Wismi G2 is suitable for indoor and outdoor use in both urban and rural areas. According to the user requirements, JOSI-Wismi G2 can be used as a rehabilitation buggy and as a bike trailer. The wide range of equipment variants and the modular design allow it to be used, among other things with: high or low muscle tone, loss of extremities, limb defects and/or deformities, joint contractures and joint damage.

    Always use the safety line on your wrist (see chapter Wrist safety line). When using the JOSI-Wismi G2, always use the anti-tipper if there is a risk of tipping over due to increased muscle tone or due to slopes or uneven paths, for example.
  • Page 5 The person transported must always wear a bike helmet. Do not make any changes to the coupling and do not make any subsequent extensions. Custom-made constructions for the JOSI-Wismi G2 are not approved for use as a bicycle trailer (e.g. table).

    Remove transportation strap A) Open buckle Open the buckle and remove the transportation strap around the bottom frame and the back that keeps the JOSI-Wismi G2 together when folded. 8.2 Back arch A) Open back arch Unfold the back. B) Locking the back arch Fold the back completely open and lock it by pressing lightly in the direction of the arrow.

Fold out foot section A) Fold out until locking bolt engages Lift the front part of the JOSI-Wismi G2 slightly and fold out the foot section so that the locking bolt engages. B) Screw in the lock The snapped-in locking bolt must be additionally secured by turning it clockwise.

    Bike option (if equipped) A) JOSI-Wismi G2 as a bike trailer With the bike option JOSI-Wismi G2 can also be used as a bike trailer. The bike drawbar can be quickly fitted using the adapter system of the front wheel.
  • Page 26 Attention! The anti-tipper must always point towards the wheel of the JOSI-Wismi G2 and NOT ❹ towards the bike. Ensure that the cable (5) of the locking pin (3) is guided above the wheel deflector.

    (hereinafter ISO 7176-19). The JOSI-Wismi G2 should always be used as a seat in a motor vehicle facing forwards in the direction of travel. The shortest possible turning radius of a wheelchair generally allows easier access to the vehicle and better manoeuvrability in a forward-facing position.
  • Page 28 They have the same design with the same dynamic properties and are therefore also approved by John GmbH for vehicle transport. The size L and all models with front wheels other than 8" with locking function have not been crash tested and are excluded from vehicle transport.
  • Page 29 If the backrest adjustment is mounted, it must be moved to the upper position and fixed with the safety bolts (see section 2.4). The adjustable footrest may remain in the set position. Loose parts should not be left in the JOSI-Wismi G2 during vehicle transport and must be removed and stowed safely.

Tighten the belt so that it fits close around stomach and thighs.

    Useful life and long-term durability The useful life of JOSI-Wismi G2 is set by the manufacturer at 5 years. With regular and proper care, maintenance and repair by the manufacturer, the service life of JOSI-Wismi G2 can be extended depending on the intensity of use.

    Plastic or aluminium rim with pneumatic tyres Type-label The weather-resistant type label of the JOSI-Wismi G2 is located on the frame tube between the two rear axle plates. If the type-label is no longer legible, be sure to contact your specialist dealer so that a new type- label can be requested from the manufacturer.
