  • Page 2 BCDC Alpha Mounting Bracket Suitable for TOYOTA LandCruiser 200 Series (11/2008–03/2022) The REDARC BCDCMB-101 Mounting Bracket is designed to install your BCDC Classic/BCDC Alpha Battery Charger*close to an auxiliary battery mounted in the engine bay. Do not use if the battery is located elsewhere.

  • Page 4 BCDC ALPHA MOUNTING BRACKET PARTS 1. Mounting Bracket 5. M6 × 20 mm Hex Head Bolt Supplied with 1 bracket. Supplied with 1 bolt. 2. M6 × 12 mm Pan Head Bolt 6. M6 Spring Washer Supplied with 4 bolts. Supplied with 1 washer.
  • Page 5 ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLING BATTERY CHARGER TO BRACKET The BCDC Alpha Mounting Bracket must be fitted to the Battery Charger before mounting to the vehicle. Do not install the BCDC Alpha Mounting Bracket to the vehicle first. BCDC Classic Battery Charger If mounting a BCDC Classic Battery Charger, use the supplied M6 × 12 mm Pan Head Bolts and M6 Nyloc Locking Nuts to secure the Battery Charger to the Mounting Bracket (see Figure BCDC Alpha Battery Charger...
  • Page 6 PRIOR TO INSTALLATION LIFT REMOVING RADIATOR COVER PANEL PUSH Remove the radiator cover panel by taking out the seven plastic push clips, refer to Figure 4. To remove these, depress the centre of each clip and they will lift out.   • Page 7 INSTALLATION FITTING THE MOUNTING BRACKET ASSEMBLY TO VEHICLE NOTICE: Installing the Mounting Bracket assembly requires removal and refitment of the horn. Check if the horn is properly connected and still functions before driving your vehicle. To fit and secure the Mounting Bracket assembly to the vehicle refer to Figure 6 and adhere to the following steps:...
  • Page 8 2. Mark the hole centres holes and cut neatly between the holes to create the inspection window of your Battery Charger. REDARC recommend using a centre punch/scribe to mark the holes and a small, serrated blade or reciprocating saw for cutting the trim. De-burr rough edges.
  • Page 9 FITTING THE RADIATOR COVER PANEL Complete the required wiring in accordance with your Battery Charger's instruction manual then sit the radiator cover panel in place. NOTICE: Damage to cabling can cause failure to the Battery Charger and the vehicle's electrical system. Ensure wiring is clear of sharp edges, moving parts and has enough slack to allow for flexing.
