1. Turn off the power switch of the printer and unplug
the power cord.
2. Remove the following covers and units of the
printer : Scanner rear cover, Scanner left cover,
Rear cover and Stage cover unit.
3. Cut off the illustrated parts from the Rear cover.
4. Remove the illustrated Reusable wire clamper of
the Wire harnesses; paper feed R from the Rear
side frame.
5. Secure the Upper hinge to the rear side frame with
IT3C screws. (4x8, 2pcs)
6. Remove the screws from the bottom frame and
secure the Lower hinge to the bottom frame with
the same screws. (without washer)
7. Remove the screws from the bottom frame and
secure the SH3M bracket to the bottom frame with
the same screws. (without washer)
