This is an input jack which connects to the receiver RF stage.

Connect a suitable transverter to this jack for operation on VHF/
UHF frequencies. The output is approximately 30mV.
This jack is not used. lt may be useful for connecting a persona!
accessory.
T.o prevent electrical shocks, TVI, BCI and. other problems, be
sure to ground the equipment through the GROUND TER~
MINAL. For best results, use the h.eaviest gauge wire or strap
· available and make the connection as short as possible.
For CW operation, connect a CW key using the supplied standard
1/4 inch, 3-conductor plug. The terminal voltage from external
electronic keyers must be less than 0.4 volts OC.
When using the IC-751A internai iambic keyer, connect an iambic
keyer paddle using the supplied 1 /4 inch, 3-conductor plug. See
SECTION 4 - 5 and 6 - 4 for more information.
Connect an external speaker to this jack, if required. Use a speaker
with an impedance of 4 ,_ 16 ohms and remember the built-in
speaker does not function when using the EXTERNAL SPEAKER
JACK.
This socket provides signais such as T/R switching, receiver output,
modulation output, etc. Refer to SECTION 5 - 6 for more informa-
tion.
Connect the DC power cable from the IC-PS35 internai power
supply, the IC-PS30 or IC-PS15 externat power supply or other
suitable supply. Refer to
SECTION 4 - 6
for more information.
This position is for the installation of the DP-25 connecter from the
optional IC-EX309 interface unit.
This position is for the installation of the AC power socket when
the optional IC-PS35 internai power supply is used.
