  • Page 4 Productdescription DEGAUPAIII- thethirdgeneraoncompactevaluangcontrolleris designed as a stand-alone device intended for mounng on a wall or on distributors. It is used to supply up to 32 transmitters via RS485 and up to 8 transmiers via current loop. It evaluates the gas leak of the transmitters in 4 levels. The status of each transmitter is indicated on the LCD display of the controller.

In explosive environments the electrical installation must be performed according to ČSN EN 60079-14 (Electrical installation in hazardous areas).
  • Page 6 Termination resistor According to the RS485 specificaons, the last device on the controller must be ending with a terminang resistor 120R. In the default configuraon, the jumper connector is not plugged. There is a separate terminaon resistor for each bus, which is located behind the terminal block of the respective bus.
