Ergonomically engineered to be comfortably held for long periods of time, the Thunder X is the ideal choice for high quality, rich vocal tones in a live setting. Microphone technique, (how near or far the microphone is held to the mouth in relation to vocal volume), is more pronounced and can be more effective when using the Thunder X, than with a dynamic microphone.

A good MIC preamplifier with trim also will have a Peak or Clip LED. To set a good level on the Thunder X, set it up in front of the desired sound source (i.e. a presenter talking) and slowly raise the MIC trim control until you see the Peak LED light up.

Connecting the Thunder X The Thunder X has an XLR connection which provides a balanced output. A good quality XLR cable is required to connect the microphone, (not supplied). P-Poping P-Poping is that annoying pop sound that you can get when the microphone diaphragm gets a blast of air from a vocalist pronouncing words with the letter “P”...
