Overview

Transform your bath into a personal spa

Installation Instructions

Be sure that the this unit is off and the tub is empty.
Dampen all 3 suction cups to improve grip.
Place the unit inside the tub (See Figure 1).
Secure suction cups to tub by firmly pressing on the front of this unit.

Instructions For Use

Place this unit in the tub by using the previous installation instructions.
Connect adaptor to power cord then insert plug into 120 V household outlet.
Fill the bath tub with water to the line indicated on the unit (See Figure 2).
Press the "on" button and set the control to the desired setting (jet stream or bubbles) (See Figure 3).

If this unit falls into the tub during use do not panic. This unit has been designed to withstand submersion for short periods of time without danger. Remove unit from tub immediately and press off button. Unplug from outlet. Remove the unit from the water and hold it over tub, rotating gently to remove excess water from housing. When water is completely emptied from this unit, reinstall this unit per operating instructions.

DO NOT REACH FOR POWER SUPPLY WHILE IN TUB. DO NOT DISCONNECT POWER UNTIL POWER IS TURNED OFF. IF UNIT HAS BEEN IMMERSED FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES, REMOVE UNIT FROM THE TUB, PRESS THE "OFF" BUTTON, DISCONNECT POWER CORD FROM ALCI POWER PACK, DRAIN WATER FROM UNIT AND STORE IN A DRY PLACE FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE NEXT USE.

Maintenance

Keep this unit clean and clear of obstructions. Check the outflow control frequently for potential obstructions, including lint and hair, that could block air or water flow. We recommend cleaning this unit after each use with mild detergent or soap.

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean onlywith a soft, slightly damp sponge. Note: Do not use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
This unit should also be disinfected periodically to keep it bacteriafree. Follow a disinfecting schedule of once per week if the unit is used frequently, (3 or more times / week). Disinfect after each use when this unit is used only occasionally.

Do not attempt to repair this unit. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics' address listed in the warranty section.

WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION:

Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediatelyafter using and before cleaning.
Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug itimmediately.
Do not place or store power pack where it can fall or be pulled into atub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid. Store in dry place.
Do not attempt to plug or unplug unit while body is in the water.

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, ELECTROCUTION, FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSONS:

An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before putting on or taking off parts or attachments.
Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occurand cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids or disabled persons.
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in thismanual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Homedics.
Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return it to HoMedics Service Center for examination and repair.
Do not carry this appliance or power pack by supply cord or usecord as a handle.
Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not block the air openings of the appliance or power pack, orplace it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep air openings free of lint, hair, dust, etc.
Do not drop or insert any object into any opening.
Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occurand cause fire, electrical shock or injury to persons.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used orwhere oxygen is being administered.
To disconnect, turn all controls to the "off" position, then removeplug from outlet.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than theother). The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
This unit must be connected to 120V electrical supply

All servicing of this this unit must be performed by authorized HoMedics service personnel only.

Please read all instructions carefully before operating.

SPECIAL WARNINGS:

Do not insert any object, or material, into this unit or power pack.
This unit is not a toy. Children should not use or play with it.
Always unplug the unit when not in use and when cleaning or moving the unit.
Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the switch or removing the plug.
Do not cover this unit or power pack with any type of material while it is in operation.
Do not use if you have sensitive skin areas or poor circulation. Use by unattended children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
Do not use while sleeping or drowsy.
Do not use this unit for more than 20 minutes.
Do not use on the walls of inflatable tubs or pools.

Medical Precautions

This unit should not be used in the following cases: Tuberculosis, benign and malignant tumors, hemmorages, inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and thrombosis, open and fresh wounds, bruises, broken skin or varicose veins, or undetermined calf pain.
Consult your physician if you have any questions regarding therapeutic use of this unit.
Do not use on any part of the body that is anesthetized.
Do not use on any part of the body where surgery has been performed.
Do not use on any unexplained pain before consulting your doctor.
If you have any concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before using this product.
