  • Page 6 HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION 5.1 GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR MITRE SAW STANDS When using this product in conjunction with a mitre saw there are steps that should be taken to make sure that you, as the user, remain safe: – Before use, read and fully understand the appropriate instruction documentation supplied with the mitre saw, paying particular attention to relevant health and safety information.

  • Page 10 ASSEMBLING THE MITRE SAW STAND The following tools (not included) are required to assemble the mitre saw stand: (17) – Cross slot screwdriver. (21) – 13mm wrench or socket. (20) 8.1 ASSEMBLE TRANSPORT HANDLE – FIGS.1 – 2 – Utilising 2 sets of fixings, thread the screws (17) with lock washers (20) and washers (21) in the same order as indicated inset in Fig.1.

Isolate the power source by either removing the power supply plug from (12.3) (12.2) the socket, or battery from the tool, before attaching it to the mitre saw stand.
  • Page 13 OPERATION 9.1 ROLLER BARS/EXTENSION BAR ADJUSTMENT– FIGS.17 – 18 Warning! Do not use the mitre saw stand for scaffolding or as a ladder. Make sure to securely tighten all fasteners before using. Warning! Maximum load capacity for this mitre saw stand is 150kg. Warning! Mitre saws used on the stand should not exceed a combined overall height of 152.4cm (60") from the floor.

  • Page 19 ASSEMBLING THE MITRE SAW STAND – Remove the mounting brackets from the frame and attach them onto the under side of the (16) mitre saw using the supplied fittings. (22) Note: Make sure that you fit the brackets to (18) the saw the correct way around, so that the carry handles (12.4) are facing outwards (Fig.14).
