NOTE
Before departure, read the ≈Safe
Drive∆ guide on page 5 (SAFE DRIVE).
CAUTION
I f , w h i l e d r i v i n g t h e v e h i c l e , t h e
dashboard low fuel warning light "
lights up, this means that the fuel is in
the reserve area.
Refuel the vehicle as soon as possible,
see page 45 (FUEL).

W h e n r i d i n g w i t h o u t a p i l l i o n
passenger, make sure the passenger
footrests are folded.
When riding the vehicle, keep your
hands on the handlebars and feet on

the footrests.
NEVER RIDE IN ANY POSITION OTHER
THAN THOSE INDICATED.
If riding with a pillion passenger, make
sure the passenger knows how to
behave so as not to create handling
difficulties.
Before departure, make sure the stand
or stands are completely up.
To leave:
Release the throttle grip (Pos. A),
operate the rear brake and move the
vehicle off its stand.
Sit on the saddle and keep at least one
foot on the ground to stabilize the
vehicle.
Adjust the rear-view mirrors.
WARNING
Get used to adjusting and using the
rear-view mirrors while the vehicle is
stationary.
To move off, release the brake lever, and
accelerate with the throttle grip (Pos. B);
the vehicle will move off.
