3.2Installation
3.2.1 Check before Installation
a)
The measuring pressure is in the measurement range;
b)
The measuring medium is compatible with construction;
c)
The measuring medium would not jam the pressure-leading hole.
3.2.2 Installation Method
In general, the transmitter should be mounted vertically up to the horizontal
direction(its zero output would be affected if mounted invertedly).
The pressure port of the standard MPM483 is M20×1.5 male or as demand, the
user should use gasket to seal;The pressure port of the flush diaphragm
MPM483 pressure transmitter is G1/2 male with sealed gasket. The valid depth
of G1/2 female should not be less than 15mm.
The transmitter could be mounted directly on the flange port of the
measurement pipe. To be convenient for installation and repair, cut-off value
should be mounted between flange port and pipe (Fig.3).
Attention:
a)
Please do not poke the pressure-leading hole with metal wire or something hard; and
do not press the diaphragm with finger or something sharp to avoid deforming the
diaphragm.
b)
The pressure port of the flush diaphragm version with a plastic protective cap, it is not
recommended to take off it before installation to avoid deforming the diaphragm.
c)
Please do not use the adhesive tape to seal the pressure port G1/2 male of the flush
diaphragm transmitter to avoid impacting the stability and deforming the diaphragm.
