2. INTRODUCTION & DESCRIPTION IMPORTANT: These instructions contain information you require to prepare your machine for welding, together with maintenance and a trouble shooting section. If you have no previous experience the instructions are not intended to show you how to become a welder . Should you have no experience, we recommend that you seek training from an expert source.

4.1.6. Spot Welding. Spot welding may be carried out as shown in fig.C below. It will be necessary to fit a spot welding gas cup. ( Sealey part No. 120/722150 ) (a) Overlapping metal sheets with a maximum thickness of 0.8 mm may be welded as indicated.

To keep the contact tip free from spatter, we recommend the use of Sealey anti-spatter spray (MIG/722307) available from your Sealey Dealer. 5.6.
