- Page 4 Getting Started The A3-400 appliance is operated with specialized software designed to help you create and analyze realistic traffic for determining the operating characteristics of a device, system, or network under test. Due to the powerful traffic generating capabilities of the A3-400 appliance, precautions should be taken when connecting the test ports to an operational network.

Certifications and Standards Spirent A3-400 appliance complies with the limits for a Class A digital device in accordance with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when this equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
