How to Install

1. Open the cover and clean all the parts before installation.
   Note: Do not use hot water or boiled water to clean the parts.
   
2. Rinse the filter with clean water for two minutes to remove the floating carbon powder generated by the collisions of the activated carbon during transportation.
   
3. Install the filter and the pre-filter as illustrated.
   

Note: If the water pump comes off, reconnect it with the water pipe.
Note: It is recommended to replace the filter, the pre-filter, and the pre-filter holder every month, and replace the water pipe every two months. Thoroughly clean the parts including the water tank, the cover, the filter tray, the filter, the pre-filter, and the water pump at least every seven days.

How to Use

1. Connect the power cord to the power port at the bottom of the pet fountain.
   

2. Remove the water tank and fill it with water, and reinstall it. Then close the cover.
   
3. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet, and the pet fountain will start to work.
   
4. The pet fountain will automatically turn off when the cover is opened, and then you can add water to the water tank.
   

Water Dispensing Mode

Standard Mode
In this mode, the pet fountain can continuously dispense water.

Smart Mode
In this mode, the pet fountain can dispense water as follows.

• 8:00–22:00: Dispenses water for 10 minutes, and then pauses for 10 minutes, repeatedly.
• 22:00–8:00 (next day): Dispenses water for 10 minutes, and then pauses for 50 minutes, repeatedly.

Note:
The water dispensing time may vary when the pet fountain is offline.

Mode Indicator

Water Level Indicator

• Red: The water is insufficient, please fill the water tank in time.
• Blinking red: The water pump is blocked, please clean the water pump in time.

Note: The standard mode indicator lights up when the pet fountain is working in the standard mode, and the smart mode indicator lights up when in the smart mode. Either of the two indicators will light up when the pet fountain is working.

Button Description

Function Button

• Press: Switch the standard mode or smart mode for water dispensing.
• Press and hold for 2 seconds: The pet fountain enters standby mode and stops dispensing water. Press again to resume water dispensing.
• Press and hold for 6 seconds: Reset the Wi-Fi connection and restore to factory settings. The indicator blinks blue.

Filter Reset Button

• After replacing the new filter, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to reset the filter. You can check the remaining service life of the filter in the app.
• Press and hold for 7 seconds: Enable or disable the Wi-Fi. When the Wi-Fi is enabled, the indicator is blinking blue; when the Wi-Fi is disabled, the indicator remains on blue for 2 seconds then goes out.

This product works with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app*. Control your device with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already. Or search "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in the app store to download and install it.
Open Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" on the upper right, and then follow prompts to add your device.
* The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except for Russia). The name of the app displayed on your device should be taken as the default.
Note: The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the instructions based on the current app version.

Care & Maintenance

Maintaining the Pet Fountain

• Regularly check whether the power cord and the power port are in good condition and working properly.
  
• Check whether the ends of the water pipe are loose or come off.
  
• Regularly check whether the power contact pins on the cover and the power contact points on the main body are working properly. You can wipe the pins and the points clean with a dry, soft cloth.
  
  Pins and the points are not allowed to come into contact with water.
  
• Check and clean the magnetic fan blades in the water pump.
  

Cleaning the Water Pump

1. Open the cover and take the water pump out.
   

2. Remove the pre-filter and its holder from the water pump.
   

3. Remove the cover of the water pump.
   

4. Take the magnetic fan blade assembly out.
   

Note: It is recommended to thoroughly clean the parts including the water tank, the cover, the filter tray, the filter, the pre-filter, and the water pump at least every 7 days. You are also advised to change the water every 24 hours, so that water quality and water dispensing will not be affected due to filter tray blockage.

Safety Precautions

Read this manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference.

• Do not eat the pet fountain or any of its accessories. Use the pet fountain in dry and indoor environments. Do not place the pet fountain in a high place.
• Place the pet fountain on a flat surface during use. Do not tilt the pet fountain or knock it over.
• Do not add hot water into the water tank.
• To avoid electrical leakage from pet bites on the power cord, tidy up the power cord and keep it away from your pet.
• Do not disassemble or repair the pet fountain by yourself.
• Do not use any non-genuine accessories. Xiaomi is only responsible for the performance and safety of officially provided accessories.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the appliance.
• The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Under normal use of condition, this equipment should be kept a separation distance of at least 20 cm between the antenna and the body of the user.

• Disconnect the pet fountain from the electrical outlet before disassembling and cleaning it. Do not immerse the pet fountain and the power cord in water.
• Clean the inside of the water tank, the cover, and the filter tray with water before first use. Do not use hot or boiled water to clean those parts.
• There may be a small amount of powder attached to the filter when it leaves the factory, which is normal. The powder can be washed away with clean water.
• It is recommended to replace the filter, the pre-filter, and the pre-filter holder every month, and replace the water pipe every two months.
