Operation Principle

IPL Hair Removal Device is a light-based device for long-term hair removal, designed for home use. It is intended for the removal of unwanted hair and long-lasting reduction in hair regrowth. Ideal body areas include the armpits, bikini line, arms and legs. The device uses the IPL technology with lower energy level, including 4 power modes. Intense Pulsed Light technology is able to achieve long-term hair removal results at a fraction of the energy level used in other light-based hair removal devices.
The principle of operation is selective photo thermolysis and the mechanism of operation is to disable hair growth using light to preferentially heat the hair bulb.

How to Use

Application Ranges

The IPL Hair Removal Device is for hair removal of large areas (e.g. arms, legs, chest) and small areas (e.g. fingers, upper lip). Please check the Skin Tone Table below to determine whether IPL is suitable for you.

USE ON ACCEPTABLE SKIN TYPES AND HAIR TYPES
This device is to only be used on Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-V. Pleaes refer to the chart below.

NOTE:

  • Select the treatment mode that best suits your skin tolerance and, if there are no adverse reactions, transition gradually to higher energy modes..
  • The color of your skin may change, for example because your skin has been tanned: it may then be darker than the skin tone during the previous treatment. Therefore, it is important that you check the settings to be used before each treatment and set different settings according to different treatment areas. Some areas may be darker than others.
  • User with skin type V should use the device with a particular caution because they are more likely to experience adverse events. If you have trouble identifying yourself as Skin Type V versus VI, please consult your physician.

If there is no skin abnormality after 2 hours, and you didn't feel intense hotness during the treatment, then the higher treatment mode you used is suitable for your skin. You can continue to test the next energy level till you find the maximum acceptable level for the intended skin area.
