* The Advanced Driver Assistance System warning and alerts only serve to inform the driver of potential hazards. They do not detect and provide an alert in every situation. NEW FEATURES
The Highway Lane Keep Assist system is designed to help detect lane markings to warn the driver if the vehicle unintentionally steers out of the lane. When the vehicle departs the detected lane without its turn signals on, the system will automatically assist the driver's steering to help them get back to their lane.
Note that the Lane Keep Assist function relies on the front view camera, so it is important to make sure there aren't any decals or debris covering this area.
To enable this feature, press SETUP, then VEHICLE, DRIVER ASSISTANCE, and then LANE SAFETY.
Highway Driving Assist II (HDA2), when used in conjunction with Lane Following Assist and Smart Cruise Control, is for highway use only and can help keep your vehicle centered in its lane while maintaining a set distance from other vehicles ahead when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. HDA2 should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, or on winding or slippery roads. HDA2 will not work under all circumstances and will not prevent loss of control. Driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision. HDA2 may not function correctly if one or more of the vehicle sensors is damaged, dirty, or covered, or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow, or fog) are interfering with the sensor operation. Always drive carefully and use extreme caution when other vehicles are present. See Owner's Manual for details and limitations.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) (if equipped) The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist uses information from the detected road sign and navigation system to inform the driver of the speed limit and additional information of the current road. When activated, it also helps the driver maintain within the speed limit of the road by adjusting the vehicle's speed.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) can help the driver maintain cruise control speed limit using speed limit sign recognition. ISLA cannot detect all speed limit signs, including when speed limit signage is obscured or beyond the camera's field of view. Driver remains responsible to observe posted speeds. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
DESTINATION SEARCH BY VOICE
Before you start
Genesis Connected Services Voice Recognition must be enabled prior to using the Destination Search by Voice feature. Check your owner's manual for details.
Note
Genesis Connected Services subscription is required. To enroll, please visit your retailer or visit MyGenesis.com. All product names, trademarks, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners. All company, product, trademarks, and service names used herein are for illustrative purposes only.
Genesis Connected Services (GCS) is available on GCS-equipped Genesis models. Not available on all models and trims. GCS requires an active GCS account subject to GCS Terms and Conditions. Only use GCS features and corresponding devices when it is safe to do so.
Cellular and GPS coverage is required. Features, specifications, and fees are subject to change.
GCS relies on digital wireless telecommunications technology outside of Genesis' control. GCS is dependent on 4G LTE cellular networks controlled and maintained by third-party wireless carriers. If and when these networks change and/or discontinue service, or the underlying technology required to support GCS becomes obsolete, then the connected services will not work and Genesis will be forced to cancel impacted services.
