READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLY AND USE OF CHAIR.

KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.

Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
Fall Hazard. To prevent falls:
  • ALWAYS use restraints. Adjust to fit snugly.
  • Keep child in view.
  • To prevent tipover, check stability of table before and after seating child.
  • NEVER use with:
    • glass table top
    • loose table top
    • table leaf
    • card table
    • single pedestal table
    • table cloths or placemats
  • Child can use nearby structures to push chair off.
NEVER use hook-on chair:
  • with ordinary chair underneath
  • in reach of table legs
  • near island below counter tops
Use only for:
  • child who can seat upright without help.
  • child up to 37 pounds (16.8 kg).
  • tables 0.8 to 3.5 in. thick (20 to 90 mm).
  • Discontinue use if child, when seated in hook-on chair, is able to move the hook-on chairs arms on the table top.
  • Before removing child from hook-on chair, be sure child's legs are free from hook-on chair supports.
  • Discontinue use if hook-on chair is broken. Contact manufacturer immediately for replacement parts or service.
  • Do not use without all tips (suction cups or other locking/ latching mechanisms) attached securely to table surface.
  • Do not allow children or animals to play near or walk under the hook-on chair while in use.
  • Keep table and seat clean and dry to prevent slipping.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Not all tables are suitable for attachment of the hook-on chair. If in doubt do not use the hook-on chair.
  • Before using the hook-on chair remove and discard all packaging materials, including plastic bags, and keep these materials out of the reach of newborns and children to avoid suffocation.
  • Do not use the hook-on chair on a table that has any screws, staples, sharp edges, holes or gaps, on the top or bottom surface, which might injure the child.
  • Do not use tablecloths or other objects on the tabletop which might interfere with the proper functioning of the anchoring elements.
  • Do not allow children under six (6) months to sit in the hook-on chair.
  • The hook-on chair has been designed and tested for use with only one child.
  • Do not use replacement parts other than those approved by inglesina. Do not attach objects (such as pocket books or diaper bags) to the hook-on chair as this may affect the stability and safety of the product.
  • Do not attach the hook-on chair to drawers or movable parts of tables.
  • Do not fit or lock the hook-on chair to a table with the child already sitting in the hook-on chair.
  • Routinely check any clamping screws and re-tighten them, if required. Check also the suction pads.
  • Stop using the product when the child is able to stand on his or her own.
  • Do not insert fingers inside the mechanisms on the hookon chair.
  • Make sure the hook-on chair is securely attached to the table before seating the child.
  • Do not leave the hook-on chair close to any heat source including, but not limited to, radiators, fireplaces, electric heating coils and gas stoves.
  • Never leave the hook-on chair with the child seated in it where ropes, curtains or other objects may be used by the child to climb or cause the suffocation or strangling of the child.
  • Always ensure that all hazards such as electrical devices, knives and hot liquids are kept out of the reach of the child in the hook-on chair.
  • Assembly, disassembly and adjustment operations must be carried out by adults. Make sure that the person using the product (baby-sitter, grandparent, etc.) reads this manual and is aware of the correct operation of the hook-on chair.
  • When the hook-on chair is not being used, it should be stored out of the reach of children. The hook-on chair should not be used as a toy. Do not let children play with the hookon chair.
  • In case of prolonged exposure to sunlight, let the hook-on chair cool before using it.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINANCE

  • Do not store the product if it is still wet and do not leave it in humid environments. Mildew may form.
  • Store the product in a dry place.
  • Clean the plastic and metal parts with a wet cloth or with a mild detergent; do not use solvents, ammonia or benzine.
  • Carefully dry metal parts after any contact with water in order to avoid the formation of rust.
  • Keep all moving parts cleaned.

CLEANING OF THE FABRIC SEAT

  • Wash the seat separately from other items.
  • Periodically clean the seat using a soft brush for garments.
  • Follow the washing instructions on the seat lining.

  • Dry the seat completely before using or storing it.

Before assembling, confirm that the hook-on chair and all its components have not been damaged during transport or handling. If any damage exists, no matter how slight, DO NOT USE THE CHAIR.

Contact Inglesina for any necessary replacement parts.

After having locked the support arms (C), always make sure that the locking pins (I) are properly engaged by pulling at the same time the backrest (J) and each arm (A).

Zip up the lower lateral arm covers (K) ONLY when the support arms (C) have been put inside them.

POSITIONING CHAIR

fig. 05 Place the hook-on chair close to the table and slide the arms (A) along the top of the table. Push the hook-on chair all the way forward to the edge of the table. The entire bottom surface of the arms (A) must be in full contact with the top of the table. Confirm the support arms (C) are properly in place under the table.

fig. 06 Screw the clamps (B) by rotating them counterclockwise until reaching the bottom of the table. Tighten the clamps (B) at least three (3) full turns after the clamp (B) first contacts the bottom of the table.

Confirm that the hook-on chair is securely anchored to the table by trying to pull it away from the table and downwards. Do not place a child in the hook-on chair if chair moves at all during this test. Failure to securely anchor the hook-on chair can result in an accident, personal injury or death.

Never attach the hook-on chair to table tops with beveled, angled or other decorative profiles more than 3.5 cm (35 mm or 1.3"), even if the clamps (B) fully contact the underside of the table. There is a risk the hook-on chair will detach from the table, resulting in an accident, personal injury or death.

Never attach the hook-on chair to a table with profiles that do not ensure full contact between the entire bottom surface of the arms (A) and the top of the table, and the clamps (B) with the bottom of the table. There is a risk the hook-on chair will detach from the table, resulting in an accident, personal injury or death.

The failure to properly tighten the waist belt may cause the child to fall or slide out of the hook-on chair, resulting in personal injury or death.
