Periodic Inspection of Valves 1.1 Periodic inspection is recommended once a year for all valves being mounted on pipelines. 1.2 Confirm that all valves satisfactorily perform their functions in full security. 1.3 Items and methods of inspection are the same as listed for daily inspection in Article Ⅴ.

    1.3.3 Remove the handle nut [10] from the valve body. 1.3.4 Remove the lever handle [9], the wave washer [43B], the disc spring [43A] and, for Product Code UV, the washer [47] from the valve body. 1.3.5 Loosen and remove the packing gland [7] from the valve body.
