Battery installation
1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert 1x AA size new battery as indicated in the
battery compartment ( ) and press the RESET key ( )

to reset the clock. The display will turn on after a few
seconds.
3. Close the battery door.
Only use new alkaline batteries from a reputable
brand.

Radio controlled clock operation
We strongly recommend you start your clock at night.
Once the battery is installed properly, the clock begins

receiving the DCF signal. Once it has received the signal
and processed it accordingly (which takes 3 to maximum
12 minutes), the clock will automatically display the
correct time.
Setting the time
1. Touch and hold the clock icon (
enter the time setting mode.
2. Rotate the bezel ( ) to select 12 or 24 hour format.

3. Touch the clock icon to confirm hour format
setting.
4. Rotate the bezel to set the desired time.
5. Touch the clock icon to save the settings and
return to the normal display.
Setting the alarm
1. Touch and hold the alarm icon (
enter the alarm setting mode.
2. Rotate the bezel ( ) to set the desired alarm time.

return to the normal display.
Using the alarm and snooze function
1. Enable the alarm by pushing the ALARM ON / OFF
slider ( ) up (the green indicator is visible). The bell

icon will appear on the LCD display.
2. Touch one of the keys (SNOOZE/LIGHT / TIME
SETTING / ALARM SETTING / BRAUN logo) or rotate
the bezel to stop the alarm and activate the snooze
function. When the snooze function is activated, the
bell icon will flash.
3. To disable the alarm and snooze function, push the
ALARM ON / OFF slider down. The bell icon will
disappear.
