1.2 Installing SIM Card and Battery

Installing the SIM Card
If you want to use the telephone features of the
device, you must install a GSM SIM card.
•Push the back cover down and slide it open.
•Place the SIM card into the SIM card slot with the
gold contacts facing down. The SIM card's cut-
off corner should match the cut-off corner in the
SIM card slot.
Installing the Battery
•Place the battery in position by pressing the two
protrusions on the side of the battery against the
sockets inside the left edge of the battery slot.
•Press the battery down into the battery slot and
close the back cover.
The device is supplied with a rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery. This battery is supplied completely discharged and should be charged
for at least 8 hours before first use. Use only manufacturer-specified original batteries. Damage caused by using batteries not specified by
the manufacturer is not covered under warranty.
Please follow the normal power-off procedure to remove the battery; otherwise unsaved data may be lost.
