    The coil of each kiln contactor should be suppressed with a varistor. The varistor must be connected directly across the coil terminals on each contactor. ROHDE kilns are delivered this way as standard. For kilns from other manufacturers, suitable products are available as accessories from contactor manufacturers.

    Assembly 4.1. General safety information WARNING An incorrectly placed control unit can lead to serious personal injury or property damage. The control unit should never be placed on the kiln but should only be positioned in the bracket provided for it. The controller must not be exposed to direct heat from exhaust air or thermal radiation from the kiln.
