- Page 6 ASSEMBLY Assembling your detector is easy and requires no special tools. Just follow these. Unscrew the fixing knob on the search coil and remove the knob connector. Place the washers into the groove of the lower stem. Insert the stem and align the holes on the search coil bracket and the stem.
