Self-timer recording

This is for recording using the timer.

You can record still pictures on an SD card using the timer.
¬ Rotate the mode dial to select

To stop the timer midway through
Press the [MENU] button. (The self-timer setting is canceled.)
≥ If you turn off the power, the self-timer
standby mode is canceled.
≥ Depending on the time taken to bring the
subject into focus, the recording may take
longer than set to start.

Press the button in the center to
display the icon shown in the figure.
Press the cursor button left to select
the [Ø] self-timer icon.
The [Ø
] icon flashes orange, then lights white.

≥ Each time the left cursor button is pressed, the
indication changes by one setting in the
following order: [Ø
canceled.

: Starts recording after 10 seconds

Press the record button.
After the indication lamp and the [Ø
indication flash for the time which has been set,
recording will start. After recording, the self-timer
is canceled.

and then all the way, the subject will be
brought into focus when the record button was
pressed halfway.
≥ When the record button is pressed all the way
at once, the subject will be focused just before
the recording.
