Holding the camera

Hold the camera firmly with both hands while keeping your elbows at your
sides to prevent camera movement.

• When using a tripod, attach it after opening the lens barrier. The lens
barrier is difficult to open with a tripod attached.
Note
Correct
When shooting vertically using the
flash, hold the camera so that the
flash is higher than the lens.
Incorrect
Keep your fingers and the strap away from
the lens and flash.
