    HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL The instructions in this manual use a series of numbers for each operating procedure and button/dial illustration. Follow these numbers in order when operating the camera. Set the mode dial to the position shown in the illustration. In this example, you would set the dial to P.

Telephoto/Wide-angle shooting is possible at up to 3x magnification (equivalent to 32 mm – 96 mm on a 35 mm camera). By combining the digital zoom with the 3x optical zoom, zoom magnification up to 7.5x is possible.
