8. Vorbereitende Arbeiten 8.1. Einsetzen einer Garnrolle TIPP Bei den meisten Garnrollen gibt es eine Kerbe, die der Garnfixierung nach dem Gebrauch dient. Damit ein gleichmäßiger und störungsfreier Garnlauf gewährleistet ist, achten Sie darauf, dass diese Kerbe in Richtung Untersei- te zeigt.

Stecken Sie die Spule auf die Spulenspindel (), wobei das Fadenende oben auf der Spule liegt. Schwenken Sie die Spulenspindel nach rechts gegen den Spulenanschlag () bis er hörbar einrastet. Halten Sie das Fadenende fest und betätigen Sie den Fußanlasser. So- bald die Spule ein wenig aufgespult ist, lassen Sie das Fadenende los.

Nun führen Sie den Faden unter der Spannungsfeder hindurch und in das Fadenloch. Versichern Sie sich, dass das Fadenende ca.  cm lang ist. Prüfen Sie ob die Spule richtig eingesetzt ist und sich im Uhrzeigersinn in der Kapsel drehen lässt. 8.5.

Lassen Sie danach den Faden zwischen den Spannungsscheiben des Oberfadenspannungsreglers () durchlaufen. Führen Sie den Faden unter der vorderen Fadenführung hindurch nach oben, dabei wird die innere Führungsfeder automatisch hinaufgescho- ben. Anders als bei den meisten Nähmaschinen sind die Spannungsscheiben der Oberfadenspannung nicht direkt sichtbar, achten Sie daher sehr genau darauf, dass der Faden zwischen den Spannungsscheiben liegt und nicht an einer anderen Stelle durch die Maschine läuft.

8.8. Einfädeln der Oberfäden bei Zwillingsnadeln Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen genau durch, da eine falsche Reihenfolge oder Fadenführung zu Fadenrissen, Stichauslassungen, Zu- sammenziehen des Stoffes und Brechen der Nadeln führen kann. Bringen Sie vor dem Einfädeln die Nadel durch Drehen des Handrades in die oberste Stellung.

Fädel Sie dann den Faden von rechts nach links in den Haken des Fa- denhebers ein. Drehen Sie ggf. am Handrad, um den Fadenheber bis oben anzuheben. Führen Sie den Faden wieder nach unten in Richtung Nadel. Führen Sie den Faden der ersten Garnrolle durch die Fadenführung der Nadelhalterung.

8.10. Heraufholen des Unterfadens Stellen Sie den Nähfuß () nach oben. Drehen Sie das Handrad mit der rechten Hand zu sich, bis die Nadel sich in der obersten Position befindet. Halten Sie den Oberfaden locker mit der linken Hand und drehen Sie das Handrad mit der rechten Hand zu Ihnen hin, bis sich die Nadel nach unten und wieder nach oben bewegt hat.

9. Einstellungen 9.1. Einstellung der Fadenspannung Wenn der Faden beim Nähen reißt, ist die Fadenspannung zu hoch. Wenn sich beim Nähen kleine Schlaufen bilden, ist die Fadenspannung zu niedrig. In beiden Fällen muss die Fadenspannung eingestellt werden. Dabei müssen Oberfaden- und Unterfadenspannung im richtigen Verhält- nis zueinander stehen.

10.4. Rückwärtsnähen Benutzen Sie das Rückwärtsnähen zum Verstärken am Anfang und Ende einer Naht. Drücken Sie den Rückwärtshebel und halten Sie ihn gedrückt. Betätigen Sie den Fußanlasser - je mehr der Fußanlasser durchgetreten wird, desto schneller läuft die Maschine. Wenn Sie wieder auf Vorwärtsstich umschalten wollen, lassen Sie den Rückwärtshebel einfach los.

7. Elektrische aansluitingen VOORZICHTIG! Gevaar voor letsel! Er bestaat gevaar voor letsel door het per ongeluk bedienen van het voet- pedaal. Schakel de machine als u klaar bent en vóór onderhoudswerkzaamhe- den altijd uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. 8. Voorbereidende werkzaamheden 8.1. Garenklos plaatsen De meeste garenklossen hebben een inkeping die dient voor het vastzet- ten van het garen als u klaar bent. Let erop dat deze inkeping omlaag wijst om ervoor te zorgen dat het garen gelijkmatig en goed wordt geleid. Trek de garenpennen () naar boven uit de machine, tot u ze hoort vast- klikken.

Inrijgen van de bovendraden bij tweelingnaalden Lees de volgende instructies zorgvuldig door omdat een verkeerde volgor- de bij het inrijgen ertoe kan leiden dat de draad breekt, steken uitvallen, de stof samentrekt en de naalden breken. Zet vóór het inrijgen de naald in de bovenste stand door aan het hand- wiel te draaien.

10.4. Reverse stitching Use reverse stitches to reinforce the first and last stitches on a seam. Press the reverse lever and hold it down. Press the foot pedal – the more pressure you apply to the foot pedal, the faster the machine will run. When you want to change back to forward stitching, simply release the reverse lever.
