ASSEMBLY Steering Wheel Cap Steering Wheel Shifter Activity Panel • Using safety scissors, separate the activity panel and the instru- ment panel . Dispose of the plastic connector . • Insert and "snap" the base of the shifter into the activity panel . • Fit the steering wheel cap into the center of the steering wheel . Make sure the screw holes are aligned . Instrument Panel • Insert two #8 x 1" screws into the holes in the steering wheel cap and tighten . ASSEMBLY Windshield Activity Panel Dash Slots • Fit the tabs on the back of the windshield into the slots in the top of the dash . Windshield • Fit the tabs on the bottom of the activity panel into the notches in the dash opening to the right or the steering wheel . • Insert two #6 x " screws into the holes in the top of the activity panel and tighten . Windshield • Lift the top of the windshield assembly towards the front of the vehicle . • Insert two #8 x 1" screws into the holes in each hinge and tighten . ASSEMBLY Grille Traction Band Ridge Wheel • Fit the tabs on the bottom of the grille into the slots on the front of the vehicle . • Press near the top of the grille to fit into place . BOTTOM VIEW • Turn the vehicle on its side . • Fit a traction band around a wheel . Hood • Slide a slotted screwdriver under the traction band to push the traction band onto the ridge in the center of the wheel . Hint: If the traction band is difficult to fit around the wheel, you may want to soak it in warm water to soften it slightly. • Repeat this procedure to assemble a traction band to each wheel .
