     Operation with Sprint is not supported by either the PLS8-US or the PLS8-X modems.     USB port (violet connector). 2.2 Inserting the SIM Card FlashBack-4G uses a standard SIM card which is inserted with the following orientation. Push into the slot until a “click” is felt / heard. The SIM is removed by first pushing the card forward (into the unit) to disengage the SIM card from the holder.

    2.4 Expected Current Consumption When recording and streaming over a 3 or 4G link, FlashBack-4G draws between 450 to 600mA from a 12V supply depending upon the connection. The average current draw is around 500mA (6 Watts).

    FlashBack-4G 4.2 Network Connection Status LED / Echo Server By default, the FB-4 uses an Ovation Systems echo server to verify the internet connection and correctly set the "Network Connection" status LED. The echo server address is set in the “4G Modem” section of the “Network” tab. If you are connecting via the FlashBack-4 Server or CrossFire Server in client mode, these server connections are used in preference to the echo server as soon as a connection has been established.

    User Guide FlashBack-4G 5.2 SMS on Events When enabled, FlashBack-4G sends texts on events such as “record start” to all the numbers listed. An example event is shown on the right. The unit name is entered by the “Device Name” section of the “System” tab and can be used to help identify the FB-4G issuing the texts.
