  • Page 16 First-time Operation Use the tether to attach the pen (included) to the computer Use the tether to attach the pen to the computer so you will not lose it. Perform the following steps to attach the tether to the pen (A and B) and the computer (C and D). A Pass one of the loops B Pass one of the loops through the hole.

    Setup Windows Select language and click [Yes]. Follow the on-screen instructions. l The computer restarts several times. Do not touch the touchscreen, external keyboard or external mouse, and wait until the drive indicator has turned off. l After the computer is turned on, the screen remains black or unchanged for a while, but this is not a malfunction.

IMPORTANT l Before detaching the tablet, confirm the following things. - Save the necessary data.

IMPORTANT l When detaching the tablet from the keyboard base, hold the position at the locations dashed line circled in the illustration. l Attach/detach the tablet on a flat location. l While holding the keyboard base with hand, at- tach/detach the tablet.
