Timer record
Recording TV programs using the VCR Plus+

system

1.Press [ POWER] to turn the unit on.
2.Press [ OPEN/CLOSE] to open the tray and
place a recordable DVD disc or recordable CD
disc (LVW-5006 model only) on the tray.
If you use an new recordable DVD disc, disc preparation process
will take place in the background automatically.
3.Press [TIMER] to display the "Timer-Record"
menu.
4.Press [p] [q] to select one of the timer
setting list and press [u].
5.Press [t] [u] to select "Mode" and then
press [ENTER] .
Each time you press [p] [q] , the item changes as follows.
Mode: Once <-> Weekly <-> Daily
6.Press [p] [q] to select "VCR Plus+
press [u] or [ENTER].
7.Press the numbered buttons to enter the
"ShowView number," and then press [ENTER] .
Each time you press [p] [q] , the item changes as follows.
If you make a mistake
Press [t] to re-enter the correct number.
8.Press [t] [u] to select TV as the recording
source.

9.Press [t] [u] to select "Quality" and then

press [ENTER] to set the "Recording quality."
LVW-5002 model only:
Mode: HQ <-> SP <-> LP <-> EP <-> SLP
LVW-5006 model only:
Mode: HQ <-> SP <-> LP <-> EP <-> SLP <-> SVCD<->VCD<->

If you enter a wrong selection
Press [t] [u] to re-select the item you want to change.
10.Press [p][q] to select "Exit"and then press
[ENTER] to exit the "Timer-Record" menu.
11.Press [POWER] to turn off the unit and
activate the timer recording function.
Notes:
1.When the timer record function is active, the " Timer" LED on front
panel will light up.
2.Timer Recording continues until you stop the recording or the
disc is full.
3.Check the time setting before setting the timer record.
To stop recording during timer record
