    Do not mix old and new batteries. Never install different types of batteries such as standard, alkaline, etc. The LST-4600A is operated by a user-supplied IR Remote Control. The Remote Control shown within this manual is a typical analog TV remote, it is shown for reference only.

    IR Receiver & IR Bracket Installation Install the IR Receiver and Bracket Assembly to the back of the monitor using the method described below.     Connect the AUX Controller to allow the Integrator Box to operate your AUX device. Connect the AUX Controller to the AUX CONTROL cord on the LST-4600A. Place the AUX Controller under and in front of the AUX device. The AUX Controller must extend just out in front of the infrared sensor on the AUX device.

    RS-232 Control Connections Connect the Display Control (RS-232) port from the LST-4600A to the monitor and control the monitor functions with RS-232 commands. RS-232 Connections Connect a digital Zenith/LG Monitor to the Display Control port, according to the diagram shown below.

    Equipment Connection Overview The LST-4600A Integrator Box System is designed to be operated by an external device such as a Remote Control. Integrator Box Output Image/Sound The source image and sound can be seen and heard on an external monitor. A convenience AC power output is also provided on the Integrator Box so that the external monitor viewing device can be powered directly by the Integrator Box system.

    Plug the Plasma Panel power cord into a convenient active AC power outlet or, preferably, into the AC power outlet provided on the LST-4600A Integrator Box. Press the Power button on the lower right bottom of the plasma panel. The LED should turn green and the Plasma Panel should turn on.

In the Analog Caption Service, Captions 1-4 display a program’s dialog, and Text 1-4 display data service information. Caption 1 Caption 1 is the primary caption service that synchronizes the captioning language with the sound, used by most broadcasters.

Access to the Lock System menu is controlled by a password. The password can be changed if necessary each time the menu is displayed. Once a pro- gram blocking scheme is set up, it can be turned on or off to restrict programming that can appear on the TV, or not restrict programming.

    Lock Setup – Block Channel Block Channel Blocks any channels that the end-user does not want to view or that the end-user does not want children to watch. If you tune in a blocked channel, a pop-up will appear. You will have to enter the correct password to view the channel. If you turn your Integrator Box off then on, Block Channel will be automatically reactivated.

    Lock Setup – Movie Ratings Movie Rating Blocks movies so children cannot view certain movies according to the movie ratings limit, as defined by the Motion Picture Association of America. You can set the ratings limit by blocking out all the movies with the ratings above a specified level.

    Maintenance Routine Integrator Box Cabinet Cleaning and Vacuuming Careful and regular cleaning can extend the useful service life of the Integrator Box. Please read pages 3 and 5 in the front of the manual and follow the recommendations provided. There are vents on the top and sides that should be vacuumed regularly to remove any dust that may settle on the unit.
