    PREPARING FOR INST ALLATION Before using the appliance for the first time, remove all the protection sheets, cl ean all the surfaces with a soft cloth, warm water and soap to r emove all traces of the antirust products applied during production. To install the appliance close to walls, partitions, ki tchen units, decorative claddings, etc., they ought to be made wi th non flammable materials or leave a gap of at least 100 mm between them and the appli ance.

    2.2.1.1 EQUIPOT ENTIAL CONNECT ION If you are installing several appliances in a row, the heating el ement must be connected to an equipotential system whose effecti veness must be verified in accordance with the relative current laws. The connection is on the side of the coveri ng of the group and is marked with a plate that says EQUIPOTENTIAL .
