    Overview The DVS-A3232 digital audio routing switcher can connect up to 32 input digital audio signals of AES/EBU format to as many output lines simultaneously, using a built-in matrix system for routing selection. Combining two or more switchers using optional cascade sets allows up to 256 signal lines to be controlled.

It allows two or more routing switchers and control units to be connected by a single BNC cable and enables data communication between them.

They have shared functionality, and cannot function independently. • Routing switcher (DVS-V3232/ A3232/V1616 , etc.) This includes video routing switchers, audio routing switchers and time code routing switchers, and so on.

    This section shows an S-BUS system connection example using a video routing switcher as the primary node. The S-BUS data link enables data communication between the DVS-A3232/V1616 routing switchers and BKS-R1601/R3202/R3203 control units which are connected to the S-BUS as secondary nodes.

    The DVS-A3232 switches signals using a matrix system as shown below. When using one unit One DVS-A3232 unit can control up to 32 input/output lines when in 2-channel (32 x 32) mode, and up to 16 input/output lines when in 4-chai:mel (16 x 16) mode.

    Kaskadenschaltung fiir den Systemausbau Bei entsprechender Schaltung mit Hilfe von Kaskaden-Satzen (Sonderzubehor) lassen sich <lurch die Kombination von bis zu acht Schalteinheiten DVS-A3232 insgesamt 256 Eingange auf 256 Ausgange legen. Reserve-Steuerkarte Bei Einbau einer Reserve-Steuerkarte (Sonderausstattung) iibernimmt diese automatisch die Steuerfunktionen, wenn die Standard-CPU-Leiterplatte einmal ausfallen sollte.
