For Windows Once the driver is installed, connect the cable between the braille embosser and the computer. The braille embosser is now plug and play installed and you will find the Index Basic-D V5 as a printer on your computer. -

The printer begins printing the document. Print from Braille Editor It is possible to print to your Index Basic-D V5 from many supported braille editors. Check the documentation for your braille editor to see if it supports Index Braille embossers.
