    297 mm is used, or if the number of lines is reduced. It is possible to adjust the 4X4 PRO embossing mechanism for a wide range of paper sizes. If a paper size, significantly different from A3, is used it can effect the stability of the document handling.

    Control panel The control panel and user logic on the 4X4 PRO are designed to make the use and installation of the printer as easy and efficient as possible. All the keys are marked both in Braille and ink print, and organised in clearly marked modules.

    Default setup A/B/C 4X4 PRO has three different setup parameter settings, stored as DEFAULT SETUP A, B and C. To select DEFAULT SETUP press A, B or C. All changes that are made in the setup are stored in the active default setup.

The CD is designed as a web, exploring the CD. This Web Browser has a special feature - it can run other software applications by clicking on a link.

    6.4.6 Support Software for Index 4X4 There is no support software implemented on the 4X4 PRO installation disk. If you need to make adjustments in the settings of the embosser, e.g. hammer impact etc., install the DOS version 1.06 that is available on the support CD.

    Normally they are in the range of 80-180 gsm (20-100 Pound). To determine if the paper quality is suitable for the 4X4 PRO, check the following details: a) The paper is properly cut. There should be a smooth and even surface when you feel with your finger along the cutting edge of the paper.

    Avoid low humidity locations. If the 4X4 PRO is used in a room with a low humidity level, static electricity can cause the paper to stick together. In this case we recommend an increase in the humidity and opening a new sealed package of paper.
