CALIBRATE TEMPERATURE The temperature probes are NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) type temperature sensors. An NTC thermistor is a temperature sensor that uses the electrical resistance properties of ceramic/metal composites to measure the temperature. This feature allows for an offset to be applied to the reading of the temperature probe if it is inaccurate.
