Printing via IPP (Internet Printing Protocol)

You must have administrator privileges in order to install the printer
driver.
If the User Account Control window appears when installing on
Windows Vista, click the Allow button or the Continue button.

Adding an IPP Port using the Drivers CD/DVD

For IPP printing, specify the network setting. Refer to "Making the
Connection" on page 223 and "IPP" on page 229.

Insert the Drivers CD/DVD in the CD-ROM/DVD drive of your computer.
The installer starts up.

Click Driver Setup.

Click Network.

Click Printer, and then click Install.

Click AGREE.

Click Next.

Select Install printers/MFPs, and then click Next.

The connected printers are detected. Select this printer.
[Search Setting]: To search for printers on other networks, click this but-
ton.
[Update List]: To update the printer information, click this button.
