Which discs are unplayable?
Can I use cartridge-enclosed DVD-RAMs?

Can I replace the HDD on my own?
No. This unit's HDD contains software required for operations,
and will not function if replaced with a commercially available
HDD.
My television is not equipped with video inputs, is there
other methods of connection?
Use an RF converter sold separately. For details on connection,
refer to the instruction manual of the RF converter.

Can I record simultaneously on the HDD and DVD?
No.
If I record to full capacity on the disc, will the old
recordings be erased?
It will not be erased. Recording will stop.
Can I switch the channel while recording is paused?
Yes, on the DVD deck. However, it is not possible to switch to
DV input. Switching is not possible during DV input recording.
Cannot activate pause while HDD is recording.
Unable to pause recording on the HDD. If PAUSE is pressed
while HDD is recording., it will enter into Live Memory
Playback's pause mode. However, record pause is possible
during external input recording. (By pressing REC and PAUSE
on the remote control simultaneously.)
Cannot switch between the main and sub audio after
recording a bilingual programme onto the DVD-R disc.
DVD-RW/-R (Video mode) recording will be recorded in the
