out at least once, the recording deck, channel,
weekly/daily setting, and the recording mode
cannot be changed.
Automatic Satellite Programme
Recording (HDD)
This function allows you to automatically record a
programme which is timer programmed on your
external satellite receiver to the HDD.

Make sure the satellite receiver is connected to this
unit's [L-2 IN/DECODER] terminal.
Set to the following setting. Setup Menu AL-2
SELECTB = AVIDEO/RGBB [
Perform timer programming on the satellite
receiver.
Press HDD.
Press REC MODE repeatedly to set the
recording mode.
Press and hold REC LINK for about 2 seconds.
AR-LKB lights up on the front display panel, and
Automatic Satellite Programme Recording
mode is engaged. If AR-LKB blinks quickly on
the front display panel, Automatic Satellite
Programme Recording will not work properly. In
this case, perform ACalendar Timer
ProgrammingB [
P40].
Refer also to the manual of the satellite receiver.
To disengage the Automatic Satellite Programme
Recording mode, press REC LINK.
If this unit is off, it is not possible to engage the
Automatic Satellite Programme Recording mode.
AR-LKB blinks slowly on the front display panel while
Automatic Satellite Programme Recording is in
progress.
The timer programmed recording start time and end
time may deviate slightly.
Automatic Satellite Programme Recording and other
timer programming cannot be performed
simultaneously.
