11 Chapter Entering Text
To delete words from the dictionary
You can also delete words that were automatically or manually added
to the dictionary.
1. Press START and then tap Settings > Locale & text > Text input >
User dictionary.
. Scroll through the dictionary and select the words you want to
delete.
. Tap Done to delete the selected words and exit the dictionary.
. Entering Numbers and Symbols
Tap
on the onscreen keyboard to switch to the numeric and symbol
keyboard layout so you can easily enter numbers and common
symbols such as parentheses, braces, currency signs, punctuation
marks, special characters, and more.
To enter a number or symbol
Tap a number or symbol to insert it into your text. There are several
pages of symbols that you can choose from.
