Your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) Card is a small rectangular plastic card
that stores your phone number and other important information.
Do not bend or scratch your SIM Card. Avoid exposing your SIM Card to static
electricity, water or dirt. If your SIM Card is lost or damaged while in the U.S.,
please dial *611 from your Verizon Wireless device or 1-800-922-0204 from
any phone to speak with a Customer Service Representative.
From outside of the U.S., please refer to the Verizon Wireless Global Support
Guide, welcome letter and calling card that came with your device. This will
enable you to make calls toll free from landlines in most countries where we
offer Global Phone service.
Calling from outside of the U.S.
Your phone is Global Ready with a pre-installed Verizon Wireless SIM
Card. This means that you can stay connected even when you are in a
country that has GSM coverage.
For a recent list of countries, their type of coverage (CDMA or GSM),
and rates please visit www.verizonwireless.com/global.
To activate your SIM Card please dial *611 prior to your travel abroad.
Changing the network your phone connects to
Your phone is set to Global mode and automatically searches for
the appropriate network in your location (CDMA or GSM) and then
connects to it.
