    Introduction Introduction The iQ+ Probe and Mobile Device Charging Kit brackets allow you to keep your probe accessible, keep it charged, and keep it connected to your iPad for instant scanning. The Mobile Device Charging Kit includes a power adapter, USB power cable, and a USB splitter that lets you connect both power and your probe’s data cable to the iPad at the same time.

    iQ+ Probe and Mobile Device Charging Kit Brackets Assembly Guide What else you need You will also need: • The charging pad, adapter, power cable, and data cable that came with your Butterfly iQ+ Probe. • The Butterfly Mobile Device Charging Kit (“splitter kit”), including the power adapter and power cable that came with it.

    Introduction Power cable routing The power adapters for the probe’s charging pad and for the iPad (which connects to the splitter) are installed in the cart’s power box and plugged in to the power source inside the box. The cables from the adapters are routed out the back of the utility box, through the channel on the pole, then connected to their associated devices (the probe’s charging pad attached to the probe bracket, or the splitter in its bracket).

For each piece of the splitter bracket, insert a screw through the flat side and loosely attach the Z-nut. 2. Attach one of the pieces to the back of the pole below the handle, with the bracket loop on the same side as the iPad’s USB port (A, below).
