A: SWITCHING ON
• Connect mains lead and switch on (red mark of
knurled wheel

• Control lamp

• Fit tape cassette, pass tape through slot and hook
onto the R.H. spindle.
B: RECORDING
• Connect microp hone to MICRO input.
• Set selector

to position Diktat.
• Lock button

(Record/ Playback).
• Press recording button of microphone for a moment.
The button lights up. The machine is ready for record-
in~.
• Start by sliding the operating button of the micro-
phone backwards.
• If interrupted stop by s l iding the microphone button
forward.
• for repetitions and corrections slide the micro button
complete ly backwards. The tape is backspaced, the
machine is automatically set to playback position.
When listening or correction is completed, sl ightly
press the record button

Start recording again or
record correction. The previous recording is auto-
matically erased when making a new recording.

Backspacing are operated by the micro buttons.

C : PLAYBACK
• Connect earphone to MICRO input.
• Connect remote contro l to the socket

• Start for transcribing:
a) Foot Switch: press R.H. button resp. pedal
b) Hand Switch: push upper bar
c) Typewriter: push bar

• Stop for interruptions:
a) release R.H. button resp. peda l
b) press upper bar once more
c) press bar

• Repetitions:
a) fu ll y depress L.H. button resp. pedal
b) press front bar
c) fu l ly depress bar ~
The tape is backspaced and recommences forward run
(playback). Stop as descr ibed but on Foot Switch 522:
press R.H. button.

A: MISE EN SERVICE
• Connecter Ia fiche-secteur et tourner I' interrupteur-
secteur

bande et l'accrocher sur Ia tige du support-bobine
de droite.
B: ENREGISTREMENT
• Raccorder le micro a Ia prise M ICRO.
• Mettre le selecteur de sensibilite

o Enclencher Ia touche

(Enregistrement-Reproduction).
• Appuyer un instant sur Ia touche d'enregistrement du
micro. La touche s'allume ind iquant que l'on peut
commencer
a
enregistrer.
• Start en poussant Ia touche de commande du micro
en arriere.
• Stop (pour interrompre) en poussant Ia touche de
commande en avant.
• Pour r€p€ter ou corriger pousser Ia touche de com-
mande en arriere jusqu'a Ia butee. La bande sera
rebobin€e passant Ia machine automatiquement en
positi on Reproduction. Apres l'ecoute, appuyer un
court instant sur Ia touche d'enregistrement du micro.

• Start pour Ia transcription
a) Pedale: Appuyersur Ia touche a droite ou sur Ia pedale
b) Clavier: Enfoncer Ia touche superieure
c) Machine a ecrire: Appuyer sur Ia touche

• Stop pour interruptions
a) Re lacher Ia touche a droite ou Ia pedale
b) Appuyer sur Ia touche superieure encore une lois
c) Enfoncer Ia touche

• Repetitions
a) Enfoncer Ia touche a gauche ou Ia pedale jusqu'a
Ia butee
b) Appuyer sur Ia touche -avant
c) Enfoncer Ia touche ~
La bande fait rapidement un court retour en arri6re.
Ensuite bobinage rapide (f1eproduction). Stop comme
decrit ci-dessus mais avec Ia pedale 522 appuyer sur
Ia touche a droite.
