To install a retail version of Windows 95

Requirements
OmniBook 2100/3100 with internal CD-ROM drive.
OmniBook Recovery CD.
Retail Windows 95 CD.
1. Shut down the OmniBook and insert the CD-ROM drive in the module bay.
2. Connect the ac adapter and turn on the OmniBook.
3. When you see the HP logo, press F2 to enter the BIOS Setup utility.
4. Open the Boot menu and select CD-ROM as the first boot device. (You may want
to change the boot order back to Diskette Drive after completing this
procedure.)
5. Insert the Recovery CD into the CD-ROM drive.
6. Press F10, then select Yes to save and exit the BIOS Setup utility.
7. From the menu, select Create Hibernation Partition and select 'Y' to options.
8. From the A drive, type FDISK.
9. When prompted to enable large disk support, choose N for FAT16.
10. Press Enter to continue.
11. When prompted, create Primary DOS partition (and Extended DOS partition, if
needed). You will need at least 300 MB for the Primary Partition.
12. Make the C drive an active partition.
13. Press ESC to exit FDISK.
14. Press CRTL+ALT+ DEL.
15. Choose Exit to MS-DOS.
16. From the A: prompt, type Format C:, then type SYS C:.
17. Create a C:\Windows\Options\Cabs directory by typing the following:
Mkdir C:\Windows
Mkdir C:\Windows\Options
Mkdir C:\Windows\Options\Cabs
