For installation in small, enclosed spaces, the minimum distance around the charger must be at least 5 cm. 1. Choosing a location : When choosing a location for the unit, make sure that it is as close as possible to the battery (auxiliary battery) to be charged. The charger can be mounted, for example, in the vehicle cabin, along the chassis rail, on the inner cowl of the vehicle, behind the grille or headlamp, or even on the side of the radiator.
input similar connector 6AWG 4AWG 4AWG 75A or output similar connector EARTHQUAKE The charger has a common ground, which means that there should only be one common ground point between all batteries and electronics, usually present in the chassis/body, cab, trailer or even the negative battery connection of the vehicle.

The 5-position DIP switch can be configured to charge lead-acid batteries (e.g. AGM,GEL) or lithium batteries. The charging profiles for lead-acid batteries have an absorption and maintenance charging phase, while lithium batteries will only have an absorption charging phase. Remember that ON is the down position and OFF is the up position when the DIP switch is facing you directly.
Voltage 14.6V 14.4V 14.2V 14.0V BATTERY CHARGING PROCESS Illustration 10 in the appendix 1. Initial phase (Phase 1 - Bulk ) Initially, the battery will be charged with the maximum current and the voltage will steadily increase until the absorption voltage is reached. 2.

The battery voltage limit is 15.5-16 V: Cut-off voltage Restart voltage Disconnect other components in the circuit and allow the battery to discharge to lower the voltage. Disconnect any sensitive loads. Check the correct setting of the DIP switches Low voltage Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the battery and the input and output sockets of the DC-DC charger.

is automatic, so the DC-DC charger will resume operation once it has cooled down. Short circuit The DC-DC charger is subject to an internal short circuit due to unbalanced input and output circuits. Restart the charger by disconnecting the input/output and reconnecting.

1. Check the wiring and look out for any cracks, wear, corrosion or loose wiring and replace it immediately. 2. Check the wiring terminals and make sure they are tightened, as they can come loose during vehicle vibration. 3. Check that the charger is protected from dust, liquids or heat sources and make sure properly...
