WARNINGS
and useful safety information
IMPORTANT! READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS.
PRODUCT IN GENERAL
1. The Bugaboo Giraffe and its components are meant to be used
indoors.
2. DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED.
3. POSITION THE CHAIR AWAY FROM SOLID STRUCTURES AND
BENCHES TO AVOID INJURIES CAUSED BY FALLS AND BY ACCESS TO
DANGEROUS ITEMS.
4. Use the chair on a flat, even and horizontal floor and do not elevate the
chair on any structure or table.
5. To reduce the risk of injury, position the chair away from furniture, walls,
hot surfaces and liquids, window covering cords, and electrical cords
and position the chair away from furniture when the chair is not being
used at a table with a tray removed.
6. Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat in
the vicinity of the product.
7. Be aware of the risk of tilting when your child can push its feet against
a table or any other structure.
8. FALLING HAZARD: Prevent your child from climbing on the product.
9. WARNING: Do not use the chair if any part is broken, torn or missing.
10. WARNING: Do not use the chair if it is not working correctly and seek
repair.
11. Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those
approved by the manufacturer.
12. To avoid injury, keep children away when assembling or disassembling
the chair.
13. Don't use the chair as stepstool.
14. Certain types of floors may be sensitive to abrasion. It is the user's
responsibility to decide whether Bugaboo Giraffe is suitable for their
flooring.
FOR USE WITH ACCESSORIES
15. THE HARNESS MUST ALWAYS BE USED AND CORRECTLY FITTED—
MOST INJURIES FROM HIGH CHAIRS ARE CAUSED BY FALLS.
16. Discontinue use of newborn set when child is able to sit upright
unassisted or weighs more than 20 lbs (9 kg), whichever comes first.
17. Do not use the chair with baby set until the child can sit up unaided.
18. The chair with baby set is intended for children able to sit up unaided
and up to 3 years or a maximum weight of 15 kg, whichever comes
first.
