Function and purpose VT460 is a smoke, humidity, and temperature sensor. VT460 has a high smoke sensitivity precise temperature, and humidity measurement. The detector responds to the appearance of the smoke of the low concentration. CAN devices and sensors can be chained together. Up to 10-32 CAN devices can be connected in a chain. You can...

Temperature & humidity sensor Termination switch (Termination should be “ON” if the sensor is the last sensor in a CAN bus chain.) The sensor can not be used on its own. It must be used together with Vutlan monitoring systems.
Installation procedure Notes on assembly It is vital to ensure that the smoke alarm is always assembled with the sensor head pointing downwards. In any other position, there is no guarantee that smoke will be detected. The smoke alarm must also be positioned so that it is ventilated with an adequate amount of air and the ventilation slots are not covered.

Uncover the smoke detector head from the base. Attach the smoke sensor base to the mounting plate using the M4 x 10 screws provided. Replace the sensor head onto the base and secure it by twisting it until it locks home. Secure the mounting plate to the enclosure frame using the 4.8 x 19 screws.
Now we need to switch TR to position OFF for all sensors except the last sensor. And switch TR to the position for the last sensor. Depending on the version of VT460, please choose the below picture to help you accomplish that. Diagram Description...

a) The last sensor in the CAN bus chain connection should have a Termination switch in the “ON” position. b) All other sensors should have the Termination switch in the “OFF” position.
Configure the sensor In the current example, we will connect x2 VT460 sensors connected in a chain. Once connected, Configuration Red LEDs at the back of the sensors will light up. After connecting the sensor to the CAN bus chain go to Vutlan Web Interface >>...

Once the sensors are configured, they will appear in the window. Configuration Blue LED at the back of the sensors should light up. You should see both VT460 sensors in the CAN configuration panel. Operation White LEDs at the front of the sensor will blink every few seconds. This means the sensor is ready for...
After a while, depending on how much you sprayed, the sensor will automatically return to Normal mode. False alarms Avoid high-frequency noise and the impact of dust on the sensor, the noise and dust cause false alarms. Technical specifications VT460 Ports / RJ connectors x2 6P4C RJ-12 ports Type...
If a higher IP protection category is required for a special application, the smoke alarm must be installed in an appropriate housing or an appropriate enclosure with the required IP protection category.
