    Type 8792/8793 with booster Intended use INTENDED USE The device is based on the standard device Type 8792/8793 REV.2 from Bürkert. When using the device, the instructions for the intended use, „ the safety instructions, „ the instructions for foreseeable misuse and „ the important technical data „ as contained in the operating instructions for the standard device apply.

    Type 8792/8793 with booster Basic safety instructions BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS These safety instructions do not take into account any unforeseen circumstances or events which occur during installation, operation and maintenance. The operator is responsible for observing the location-spe- cific safety regulations, also with reference to personnel.

General description Type 8792/8793 with booster is an electropneumatic controller, the difference being that it offers a higher air flow rate than the standard device. The booster assembly is designed for retrofitting to “booster-ready” variants.

Pneumatic installation DANGER! Risk of injury due to high pressure and escaping medium. ▶ Switch off the pressure before working on the device or system. Vent or drain the lines.

    → 8792 → Connect the M8 plug of the Y cable of the booster assembly to the M8 socket of the 8792/8793 device. Hand-tighten the knurled nut. → Place the two flat seals over the device plugs of the solenoid valves.

    Type 8792/8793 with booster Start-up Enable the booster function The booster function is enabled using the display of the 8792/8793 device. The following steps are required to enable it: Add the booster function to the main menu: → Press MENU for 3 seconds. → Select ADD.FUNCTION. → Press  ENTER. The possible auxiliary functions are displayed.
