Reconnect the vehicle battery as per the vehicle's user manual if it was disconnected. b) Turn on the ignition. Check the Xlifter EAS unit green status LED; it should flash rapidly at 2x per second, signaling it's ready for operation and waiting for a wireless connection from the control module. -

Page 18: Dismantling Xlifter From Vehicle
● For temporary removal, the XLifter cable harness can remain in the vehicle. Just disconnect Connector C from the XLifter EAS unit and then insert the bypass plug into the now-free C connector. ● To detach the EAS unit from the 3M reclosable fastener, pull it straight out, perpendicular to its printed side, towards the direction of the center console. -
